Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an EICR for my property?
If you’re a landlord, yes, it’s a legal requirement every five years or at the start of a new tenancy. Homeowners are not legally required to have an EICR, but we strongly recommend one if you’re buying a property or haven’t had your electrics checked in over 10 years.
Are you qualified and insured?
Yes. All work is carried out by fully qualified electricians and covered by appropriate public liability insurance. We also work in full compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations.
How quickly can you get to me?
It depends on your location and the urgency of the job, but we aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day. Emergency callouts and urgent issues are prioritised wherever possible.
Do I need to be at home during the work?
For most jobs, yes, especially if access is needed to your fuse board or various rooms. However, for repeat customers or external work, we can often agree arrangements in advance if you’re not able to be home.
Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. All quotes are provided free of charge and with no obligation. We’ll either price up the job over the phone or arrange a visit if needed.
What areas do you cover?
We’re based in Flint and cover a wide area across North Wales and the North West, including Chester, Wrexham, Mold, Deeside, Connah’s Quay, and Ellesmere Port.
